2023-2024 STUDENT CAR PARKING APPLICATION (TUNBRIDGE WELLS)


Students studying at 
Tunbridge Wells meeting criteria 1,2, 3 or 4 of the below criteria can apply if they are eligible.
  1. Students who have their own Blue Badge*
  2. Students who have mobility or a significant health condition* that means they cannot use public transport for health grounds, and need to travel to campus by car and to park on campus
  3. Students who are registered carers with caring responsibilities – evidence will be requested such as proof of Attendance Allowance*
  4. Those with primary responsibility for taking their child or a child living in their household, of primary school age or younger to or from school, nursery etc. - birth certificate* etc. required.
*The University may contact you to request copies of evidence in order to process your application.

The permit will be valid at your main place of study only. A permit does not however, guarantee a parking space and you may have to find alternative options on busier days.

Students eligible for a parking permit will be emailed to confirm when their permit is ready for collection. Permits will be issued free of charge for 2023/24. The permit fee will be reintroduced in 2024/25.

2023-2024 STUDENT CAR PARKING APPLICATION (CANTERBURY)

Students studying at Canterbury meeting criteria 1 or 2 of the below criteria can apply if they are eligible.
  1. Students who have their own Blue Badge
  2. Students who have a registered or temporary disability 
The permit will be valid at your main place of study only. A permit does not however, guarantee a parking space and you may have to find alternative options on busier days.

Students eligible for a parking permit will be emailed to confirm when their permit is ready for collection. Permits will be issued free of charge for 2023/24. The permit fee will be reintroduced in 2024/25.

Please note if you do not meet either of the above criteria, due to the limited number of parking spaces, you will not eligible to apply for a parking permit. Alternative options of getting to campus can be found on the Travel and Transport section of our website.

2023-2024 STUDENT CAR PARKING APPLICATION (MEDWAY)

Students studying at Medway meeting criteria 1,2, 3, 4 or 5 of the below criteria can apply if they are eligible.
  1. Students who have their own Blue Badge*
  2. Students who have mobility or a significant health condition* that means they cannot use public transport for health grounds, and need to travel to campus by car and to park on campus
  3. Students who are registered carers with caring responsibilities – evidence will be requested such as proof of Attendance Allowance*
  4. Those with primary responsibility for taking their child or a child living in their household, of primary school age or younger to or from school, nursery etc. - birth certificate* etc. required.
  5. Medway students who can demonstrate they need a permit due to distance and insufficient transport infrastructure.
The University may contact you to request copies of evidence in order to process your application.
